I believe that the power of therapy starts by creating a healthy therapeutic alliance in order to build trust and explore what is keeping you “stuck” in your life. Together we will explore what is holding you back, keeping you up late at night, or pushing you to your limits. I will meet you where you are at and take you at a pace that will help you succeed. With an empathetic and nonjudgmental approach, we will set achievable goals and create a plan for how to make these goals happen. In session I will teach you new coping skills to cultivate the desired changes you want to make in your life.
I specialize in anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, self-esteem, trauma and LGBTQ. I believe that the somatic experience needs to be addressed to help relieve the mind from symptoms. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness based approaches. I also explore and utilize attachment theory principles. I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.
My belief is that with some guidance, every client has the power, and strength to take control of their lives. Live a life that is fully authentic free of guilt and shame. Empower yourself to fully live in the present, and overcome what is holding you back from living your best life.
