I believe that the power of therapy starts by creating a healthy therapeutic alliance in order to explore what is keeping you “stuck” in your life.
No matter where you are on your journey, I will meet you where you are at and take you at a pace that will help you succeed. With an empathetic and nonjudgmental approach, we will set achievable goals and create a plan for how to make these goals happen. In session I will teach you new coping skills to cultivate the desired changes you want to make in your life. My belief is that with some guidance, every client has the power, and strength to take control of their lives. Live a life that is fully authentic free of guilt and shame.
I work with teenage and adult clients, individuals or couples. I specialize in anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma and LGBTQ. I believe in the mind-body connection and that the somatic experience needs to be addressed to help relieve the mind from symptoms. I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness based approaches. I am also fascinated by the incorporation of Attachment theories principles.
